Nonetheless, I have a small problem, I am unable to actually land ever in your recovery :&.
I also have installed the apk of Kb7sqi cwm recovery, which I used previously.
I placed the phone in Moto Phone portal mode (why? Isn't it enough to place it in "None" usb mode, so the SD is mounted on the phone?) I installed your apk, pressed Install Recovery (Install Success pops up).
I then press Reboot recovery.
When USB debug mode is disabled, I land into CWM recovery. When USB mode is enable, I get a black screen, no recovery (need to pull battery).
I feel like a n00b here, but I'm not the only one having the issue, JboogyBop have it to.
You mean even if I disable USB debugging I should be able to have adb root access in the recovery?
Just tried, but adb shell gives me "error: device not found" :-(
Just curious: is your SD-recovery looking exactly the same as Kb7sqi CWM? Bc when I press reboot into recovery from your apk I land in a recovery looking exactly like Kb7sqi CWM 184.108.40.206, so I wonder maybe the problem is that the SD recovery wasn't correcly installed (though I pressed the Install recovery button!)
